S.O.S. Save Old Santa
A children's book that tells the story of a beleaguered Santa as he fends off a hostile take-over of Christmas by a nefarious new-comer named Free-For-All. It is a story of friendship, learning to ask for help when it's needed, and finding happiness by being yourself.
S.O.S. Save Old Santa
is co-written by Paul Root and his daughter, Bridget. Illustrations are by Rochester-based artist Peter Botsis.
After selling out a limited 2009 run of the books as part of a fundraiser for the Museum Of Kids' Art that provides arts programs for inner-city youth of Rochester, a second printing of the books has become available in 2011!

Moving Pictures
The cinematic origin of the work inspired the title of the collection. The stories are a blend of drama and comedy. They contain some adult situations and language which would probably inspire the Motion Picture Association of America to give it an "R" rating!
